Stump Grinding
Stump grinding is a process of removing the base of a tree after its removal to below the ground level using a specialist machine with a high speed disc of teeth. A stump grinder is able to grind away stumps and roots of any size into small chip which can then be backfilled into the hole or removed completely for you to fill how you choose.
Replant or returf after stump grinding
Once the stump has been ground out, the area can be reused if necessary for turfing, re planting, fencing or similar. We recommend waiting for at least a two-week period before re turfing, planting, or fencing so that the ground has time to settle and mulch down.
