My name is Robert Holmes, and i am the founder and director of Holmes Tress Services Ltd. 
 
Before establishing the business, i proudly served in the Fire & Rescue Service for 15 years. That experience instilled in me the values that continue to shape our company today: professionalism, discipline, attention to detail, teamwork and an unwavering commitment to safety. 
 
My passion for the outdoors and helping others ultimately led me into the arboricultural industry. What began as a genuine interest quickly developed into a career and seven years ago, i made the decision to build Holmes Tree Services from the ground up. Since then, i have invested countless hours of hard work, determination and dedication into creating a business that i am truly proud of.  
 
I am City & Guilds NPTC qualified in tree surgery and Utility Arboriculture, and also hold IPAF and IOSH certifications. I am meticulous in my approach, highly safety-conscious and committed to delivering the highest standards of workmanship on every project. Continuous improvement is important to me, and i am always looking for ways to develop and invest in the business to ensure that Holmes Tree Services Ltd continues to grow and evolve.  
 
Today, Holmes tree services Ltd serve domestic, commercial and public sector clients across the region, with a reputation built on reliability, professionalism and quality. The business means a great deal to me, and i take immense pride in the trust our clients place in us. Every achievement has been earned through hard work, perseverance and a genuine passion for what we do.  
 
Away from work, i am a proud father of two young children. Family is incredibly important to me and is a constant source of motivation. In my spare time, i enjoy running and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a discipline that reflects many of the same values i bring to the business: commitment, resilience, continuous learning and striving for excellence.  
 
Kirsty Holmes- Office Manager & Director 
My name is Kirsty Holmes and, i am the office manager and director of Holmes Tree Services Ltd. 
 
I work behind the scenes to ensure Holmes Tree Services Ltd operate effectively and efficiently. With a Masters Degree and a professional background in Nursery Management and Health Visiting, i bring a wealth of experience in leadership, organisation, communication and client care. Throughout my career, i have developed a strong skill set in leadership, professionalism, teamwork and empathy, all of which play an important role in how we support our clients and run our business.  
 
I am highly organised, detail orientated and committed to continuous improvement. I play a key role in securing and maintaining the accreditation's, policies, and systems that support the growth and success of the business, helping to ensure we remain compliant and competitive within the industry. 
 
While much of my work is office-based, i equally enjoy getting involved on site when needed. I hold a City & Guild Chainsaw qualification and am not afraid to put on my PPE, grab my chainsaw and support the team in the field, although i much prefer the rake! 
 
I am immensely proud of the business we have built together and enjoy watching it grow from strength to strength.  
 
Outside of work, i am a proud mother of two children; in my spare time i enjoy walking, Pilates and swimming, activities that help me stay focused, balanced and energised.
