Hedge maintenance
Hedge maintenance is carried out to encourage growth, maintain its health by removing diseased or dead parts and create an attractive appearance. We recommend that new hedges are trimmed once a year during late Winter/ early Spring and established hedges are trimmed twice a year, once in early Spring and once in early Autumn, this ensures they can be kept dense and compact and keep their appearance.

Ivy capping is the cutting of ivy to prevent it from growing but leaving it in situ to die off naturally. Complete removal is where the root and all ivy is removed to give a new look and prevent further growth.
